"It was clean and quiet. Was glad we paid ahead as there was no one at the desk. Followed the directions there to call but she said she was busy with another customer. After 15-20 minutes a housekeeper came to clock out and she gave another # to call. They gave direction on getting our key from a key holder on the wall. Never did see a person at the desk even when we checked out. Placed key in drop box. Desk closes at 9:30pm and sooner on Sunday."

"The Mill is in a good location with a popular coffee shop underneath which is very convenient. Our room #201 had a bathroom that was down the hall. Very odd. I need to pay better attention to descriptions before I book! Also the air conditioner was very noisy. My husband suspects it is low on freon as the air compressor was loud every time it kicked on. The room was small but clean and comfy. "

"This is a historic building. Formerly the actual Governor’s Mansion. So the room had a historic feel. More expensive than the usual stay, like a Days Inn, but worth it. Halt the price of where I often stay, Madison Concourse. It is within walking distance of the Capital Building and a ton of great restaurants! Will definitely return!"

"The entire room was clean. Towels and wash cloths provide were in place. The room was nicely appointed. The hall ways were clean. Signage was well placed and clearly understood."

"Great spot! Fun to be in a historical home on the water. Obvious maintenance needed which is happening soon but it’s still great. Continental breakfast is excellent. "
