"The location right on the Thames is fantastic, and the hotel features two great bars and a well-equipped small gym. The premises are very clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff. However, breakfast was disappointing. On the first morning, I waited 50 minutes for a latte, and then two arrived within five minutes of each other. The second morning was no better, with another 30-minute wait. There were also no plates or bowls available, and we had to search for our own cutlery, with no condiments on the tables. To make matters worse, there was no milk or tea bags on the second morning, so we had to wait for those to be replenished. While the breakfast staff were friendly and eager to help, they appeared stressed and unsure of the serving process. Because of these issues, we chose to dine outside the hotel in the evenings, this was before the opening of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant, so the service level may change. We will probably stay at the hotel again but wouldn’t book breakfast based on 2 poor experiences on this stay"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. When we got a couple of soft drinks from the bar and another guest accidentally knocked into me and spilled the drinks, the bar quickly replaced them at no charge. On our first night there we were very tired and ordered room service. They were very quick and the hamburger I ordered was the best I ever had. It tasted like it was home cooked. Checking in and out was a breeze. They also have room safes and we felt very safe while we were there. I can't wait until we can go back! Don't forget your universal outlet adapter if you're coming from the US."
