"The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. "The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views."

"The listing and house was exactly as expected and even more! Great location off of route one in the adorable town of Damariscotta. Fairly quiet road, and when we did see neighbors passing by everyone was super friendly, offering access to their docks as well. There's a public boat launch a couple hundred feet from the house, so if you have a motor boat or jet skis, that is perfect. "Ingham Pond is truly a magical location. The cottage is just as described with everything you need in tip-top shape. Kitchen is one of the best equipped we've seen in a similar property. There is a great grill to use and you are right on this quiet pond where the loudest noise you are likely to hear are the Loons calling. Roger is a great host and he is nearby if you need anything. Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends."
