"Downtown Browntown was perfect for myself and my two kids. We loved the hot tub and Gary and Jackie were so kind and friendly, inviting us to join them for Easter cookout since no restaurants were open due to the Easter holiday. The place is conveniently located and a quick drive to Mammoth Cave and area attractions. The apartment is well maintained and fully equipped for cooking. We had a great time and would definitely stay again for our next trip to the national park!"

There were only two things I wish I knew: there is a small refrigerator with no freezer, which was hard since we were there 3 nights. No hotplate or way to cook a breakfast. "The place was cute and a good place to stay for a night or two. We chose to go in pretty cold temperatures and noticed the unit doesn't retain heat well. The heaters ran pretty constantly.There's a wall unit and an extra heater, but the extra heater really has no where safe to go without being too close to the bed or rug. "This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. "We are a large family with 6 kids and we also brought our 60 lbs puppy dog along for her first trip away from home. We have a small farm in Ocala so we figured from the description, we'd probably feel at home. And yes! "I originally needed a trip Oct. 2023. Due to unfortunate circumstances, We had to move our dates. I called Wayne and he immediately pushed our dates out. I needed early check-in as our arrival time was early morning and their check-in was 4:00 pm. I called the night before, he charged me the early check-in fee and done. "My husband & I stayed at this beautiful house for a week for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! The view was beautiful and the house was spotless. Comfy furniture to relax after our days of sightseeing. The ride to the house was all paved and easy to maneuver, especially for us Floridians! Linda is awesome and communicated excellently. We went to Cumberland Falls (amazing!) and also the Cave Hill Winery among many other historical sites. Most were less than 30 min away. Lots to do...

"We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. We hauled a vehicle for the cruise in and had plenty of room for the truck and trailer. Our ONLY negative was that the carpet was a bit worn in places, but the place was so clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!"
