"It's safe to say that the while the photos are gorgeous, the truth is even better! The house has a lovely, welcoming feel and has so many considerate touches. We had purchased food and supplies for our 3 days on Bruney Island and thanks to the hosts, all of the cooking and food prep supplies were there and easy to find. The decor is themed after Beaupre, the early French explorer (hydrographer), supported with a good number of antiques, collectables and hand knotted oriental rugs. The fit-out is top quality and consumables include everything imaginable from full scale sewing kits to snake bite kits. "Great eco-lodge for couples - clean, comfortable, and including a well-equipped kitchenette. Pademelons roamed the grounds, and the beach is just across the road. There’s a small local grocery shop just down the street, and it also sells petrol in case your car runs low. Great quiet location and a very neat and comfortable lodge. A simple breakfast was provided - left at the lodge door in the morning - but they can’t cater to allergies, so if you’re dairy-free, gluten-free etc you should make...
