The remains of Brent Moor House. A former entrance into the garden of the demolished Brent Moor House, with the remains in the distance. The road is the access road to the Avon Dam. See also 1765058.
Black Tor. The access road to the Avon Dam leads back towards Shipley bridge, and curls around underneath Black Tor. The trees were planted to shelter Brent Moor House, see 1765058.
The Avon valley near Long-a-Traw. This is the access road to the dam that provides a good surface road for the bridleway which is regarded as an easy access route for disabled people, although from personal experience I can that the gradient is fierce if one is pushing a wheelchair up it ! The valley area is known as Long-a-Traw, though I know not why, and in the distance is Gripper's Hill. See 1765025.
