Cool hiking spot!
The upper fall at Old Man's cave are likely the most well known and photographed in the park.

If you want to see the falls at their peak, head there in late winter/early spring just as the snow melts and preferably after a heavy rain fall. Also if your schedule permits, head there on a weekday morning and you just might have the place to yourself for a bit.

Old Man's Cave derives its name from the hermit Richard Rowe who lived in the large recess cave of the gorge. Rowe lived out his life in the area and is buried beneath the ledge of the main recess cave.
Lower Falls at Old Man's Cave is one of the iconic vistas in the Hocking Hills State Park area.

If you do a little homework ahead of time, you can see a lot of waterfalls with minimal hiking in this part of Ohio.
