"In a prime location but comes with the difficulties of people nagging you for money/ bread on the street. Property itself is not 5*, more like 4*. Spacious room, excellent breakfast and very courteous/ helpful staff. Got to see the real Cape Town a bit because of location. Could provide 2 bottles of water per day rather than the strict policy of one/room. Enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend "

"We loved our stay, the food, the incredibly helpful staff members and just everything about this hotel! We will stay at the Taj again! They even packed us six breakfast boxes to go since we left at 5:30 AM and those boxes were lifesavers!"

"It's always convenient to stay here when coming into the airport. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's great having a shuttle from the airport. The only issue I had was the temp of the room. They want you to keep it where it is, so it's difficult to change the temperature. All in all, very helpful staff and very clean hotel!"
