"Had a lovely stay at Leworthy Farmhouse, Neil and Kirsty are wonderful hosts. Very family and couple friendly. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been all around the world. Quality produce and locally sourced, the portions were very generous and there was lots of choice. It’s in a peaceful location and once you drive out you have the choice to go into Devon or drive further into Cornwall. Highly recommend this little gem of a place, it’s like home from home. "

"We had such a comfortable stay @ Harrabeer country house. We had a very warm welcome after a long day driving with a nice cuppa and biscuits. The room we had was superb, clean, spacious and very comfortable - exactly what we needed after long days exploring. Brekkie was also delicious! "We had a wonderful stay following a super warm welcome. The staff members are amazing. The only feedback I would share would be to consider telling guests that there are steep steps and steep slopes to the accommodation and giving people the option to book lower floor properties. The swimming pool wasn’t very warm but was a nice extra. The property smelled really badly when we arrived so we had to buy air fresheners to extinguish the smells. The toilet roll and kitchen roll is very poor quality, so take your own. There was no restaurant onsite and the accommodation was very rural, it’s a real shame as this could have made such a difference. The bar area could have been made more cosy, they’ve tried to balance family games with a bar atmosphere and it didn’t feel quite right. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming and made such a difference. The little shop onsite was very welcome and appreciated. "
