"This is a beautiful property on the beachfront. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food plentiful and delicious and nightly entertainment available but alternative eating venue available if a quiet meal wanted. Bus and taxis available and small supermarket and shops in walking distance. Only small difficulty was that they were not terribly familiar with Australian currency so difficult to change money on site and taxi drivers only accepted cash"

"Very quaint and affordable property but a little dated. Lovely location and the staff do what they can to assist you. However, you consider bringing your own seasoning blends as the food is bland. Buy a 2 oz bottle of garlic or onion powder to create your own travel seasonings. Would be nice if they used table fans to deter flies around the food."

"It was amazing vacation for me. Hotel,staff,food ;everything is wonderful. Just I wish a better weather ,we went on beginning of September and the weather is a bit cloudy,rainy and windy. Btw thanks all the staffs for to try make our holiday better."

"Sam and his team were very friendly and welcoming right from the start of the trip. They were always ready to help. The staff made our stay feel very special and we will treasure our Mauritius experience for years to come. The food was top class and always well presented. The beach right on the edge of the hotel garden was superb and we enjoyed snorkeling there often. Literally 20 yards from our doorstep. Can't find any faults with our stay. Would love to come back some day. Hopefully not good bye, but more of a see you later."

"Very helpful staff! Great resort with great amenities! It has its own beautiful beach! It is super safe for solo travelers! I felt the safest out of all places I stayed at! It smells so nice everywhere!"

"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."
