"From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

"This house is perfect in every way! It has enough space for everyone, a wonderful pool with a solar shower, perfect alfresco dining....even a resident cat! The owners met us in the local town and directed us to their home, they were very helpful and we didn't see them again! The house is typically French and very rustic! It has a large enchanting garden with lots of secret places to sit, eat or while away the hours in the hammock. There's even herbs in the garden at your disposable and fruit...

"The gite was basic but comfortable, and in a beautiful secluded setting in the Montagne Noir Cosy wood burning stove Owners very welcoming, and left freshly laid eggs and cakes Downsides were that internet didn't work properly, and despite doing most of the cleaning before leaving there was a surcharge of €70 added for full clean........."
