This surf-side haven offers 4,000 square feet of luxury featuring a gourmet kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances, spacious dining and living rooms. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this magnificent condo comfortably sleeps 8-10 people: the primary bedroom includes a bathroom en suite and ocean views, the second and third bedrooms both have queen size beds and private baths. Bedroom 4 is equipped with two queen size beds. The terrace includes outdoor seating and table for eight and views to the breathtaking gardens, pool, beach and the ocean waves.

Fabulous place and location!

I was looking for a place to have a birthday celebration/family gathering and this was a winner! Great amenities, amazing location to wing and kite, and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Town was close enough by taxi to access the night life. Supermercado had everything we needed to satisfy even the vegans in our group. We would definitely return to this tropical paradise!

Our family and friends absolutely LOVED everything about this villa. The place is spacious and stunning with amazing views. There is direct access to the beach (though we’d recommend taking a 10-15 minute drive to nicer, calmer beaches for swimming, especially if you are vacationing with children). The villa was perfect for our group of 10 people (6 adults and 4 kids). It was spacious enough that everyone enjoyed being together while also having enough space to do our own thing if desired. The ground, pool and beach access are all immaculate and maintained daily. The on site staff is professional yet welcoming and friendly.

Kite Beach, Cabarette

This was a great experience and exceptional rental. It was everything the pictures and listing claim. The entire unit inside and out was beautiful and well maintained. You can't beat the views from the patio or the pool. We brought our entire family down for a wedding and wanted to all have a relaxing spacious family get together. Very glad we picked this rental.

Family Memories-2024

Property located steps away from the ocean. 3 restaurants just a short walk down the beach was very convenient. The food and drinks were all delicious. Kite surfing was entertaining to watch and the instructors giving lessons were good. Short taxi ride to Cabarete or Sosua if you want to purchase groceries. If you like diving Sousa is the place and also very affordable. Ryan PM responded to any concerns in a timely manner. The Villa was perfect for our family and we will have memories to share for years.

Great place in a good location

This property was excellent. Large living/dining/kitchen that really made it a good time for hanging out together. Secure location behind a gate that was always manned and employees walking the property cleaning and keeping a general eye in things. Nice pool and beach access right at the top of kite beach. Nice patio that we would hang out on. Easy walk along the beach to get into town. There were 3 great restaurants right next to the house on kite beach. All good food. Easy access to get a taxi and head to Sosua or to head into Cabarete. Loved it. Would recommend to large families or groups.

Beautiful lodging but traffic terrible

Beautiful property and grounds with all the amenities. Beautiful beach for walking and kite surfers, but not for bathing or swimming with sandy waves covering one in dirt. Lack of rental car parking in very tight lot. We were unprepared for Dominican drivers and roads. Fearless motorcyclists make driving a stressful chore as they pass you on both left and right. Roads have no shoulders so Dominicans park anywhere they desire creating difficult passing situations. Traveling beyond an hour from the rental was exhausting if you're wanting to see more of the lovely countryside.

The best spot in the beach!

Ocean point is by far the best spot on Kite Beach. You really just can’t go wrong here. Beautifully maintained grounds, super nice pool, and the view… wow!! I just wish they maintained the inside of the home the same way. It’s obviously a rental that is not maintained well and that was a bummer. The dresser drawers in the rooms were so hard to open, they have some thick shiny coat on them that makes them stick. Cabinets and drawers in bathrooms & kitchen are all a bit busted. Bummer to pay so much & see a beautiful home neglected.

True beachfront paradise!

The pictures and description are so accurate-we’ve never been closer to the pool and beach! We love to walk on the beach and found many cool dining experiences. So fun watching the kite surfing from the pool and beach. Super Polo was great for grocery shopping. We did not want this vacation to end-

Great spot for a kiting vacation

We chose Scott’s condo based on it’s prime location on kite beach and availability/price during our son’s spring break. And with the number of bedrooms we were able to have two other couples join us. The condo is spacious, clean, and well furnished including everything needed to cook. We were unable to get the oven to light. Property manger offered to come take a look, but we ended up not needing it. The pool and deck area are excellent however there is not a working hot tub. The ocean view from the condo and kite action watching from pool deck are captivating for non-Kiters. Not a great swimming beach after the wind comes up, but would be fine in the mornings. Kite beach is very congested with beginners taking lessons and frequently crashing kites on the water or other kites. Kinda nerve wracking if you brought you own gear like we did. Right in front of the condo is also the hot spot for locals getting big air which was a blast to watch. We ended up going upwind to ride in main Cabarete Bay in less crowded area (off Punta Goleta). The grass area in front of condo is good for pumping and folding kites. Local kids hustle to rig/rinse/de-rig your gear for whatever you want to pay them. No wetsuit or booties needed and a week of good wind made it a fantastic destination in March. We definitely look forward to a future stay. Thank you Scott!

Fantastic

Absolutely loved the property. We felt at home and enjoyed everything. The space is lovely and well designed. The pool is deep and spacious. The beach is for kite boarding but we were able to find a spot that was great for swimming with little kids. I anticipate a return very soon. So far our favorite rental in the Dominican Republic!

Awesome, super Nice employees and quiet...right on kite beach

Awesome condo with plenty of room for two families, super well maintained common areas, nice pool and good kite surfing shows! For kiters, the launch/land spot is perfect with Sandro and Wilson ready to help! Had some issues with Internet and the A/C and were quickly resolve by Calin, the manager. Super responsive and kind support! As always, the food prepared by Maribel and Elizabeth was a bonus for our vacation! Will be back. Tx Felix

Beautiful view but stay just ok

The condo was beautiful and very large. The maid came at the correct time the first time and then the second time she came two hours early and some of us were still in bed. We told the manager and she apoligized for the inconvenience but then the maid came two hours early again on the last day while we were trying to get ready to leave. The hot water didn't work in two baths for two days. We didn't realize that the whole area has inadequate sewers so no toilet paper could be flushed down the toilet in the condo as well as in the town. Gross!

Wonderful place for old and young alike.

Property is very nice and roomy. This place is big! Scott and company were very helpful. Right on kite beach so convenient for kiters. Our whole party had a great time. No issues at all. Thanks Scott

Condo on Kite Beach

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location for kiters with kids. Safe and secure. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Loved having access to the pool and the beach below. Amazing views and sunsets. The condo is spacious and comfortable so plenty of room to spread out. Only thing it was missing was a grill for dinner preparation (with kids in tow we did most of our meals at the condo). Thanks Scott! Hope to be back soon.

Wonderful!!

The place is beautiful, clean and big! No risk of being cramped. The location was perfect , close to town but quiet and the locals were very friendly. We loved watching the kite boarders while relaxing at the pool.

Spectacular Property on Kite Beach!

We were looking for the perfect family place to spend a week celebrating two college graduations and one high school graduation. We found it at at Ocean Pointe!!! First of all, the pictures are very accurate! I walked in to exactly what I was expecting. Our kids were blown away with everyone having basically their own en suite for a week. The bathrooms are modern and well-equipped. The kitchen and laundry provided all the comforts of home. There are several areas to relax, watch a movie, read, etc. And everyone has a seat at the table for dinner! This place is BIG!!! The property was clean upon arrival and included housekeeping twice during our week. What a treat! The owners contacted us several times before we headed to Cabarete, answering our questions and providing us with their on-site property manager, Calin's, contact info. Calin was very helpful - and also happens to own the FAB Kite Beach Cafe next door, featuring fried plantains with sweet chili dipping sauce that we all are still craving. The grounds, pool and beach are right off the patio of this property - and are beautifully maintained. Seems that we had the pool to ourselves most days - and the kites overhead are lovely. FYI, the pool does not have a shallow end for little bitty kids - so they will need to be watched. But for our teens and twenty-somethings, it was perfect. While we did not kite surf (lots of surf schools nearby), the kids did paddle board across the street in a lagoon. FYI, I don't think they would do it again. We chose to rent a car - and enjoyed exploring the area. But you wouldn't necessarily need one, as there are a few restaurants right next door and two doors down - and the walk on the beach into Cabarete is lovely and only about 20 minutes to a plethora of restaurants. We highly recommend La Casita de Papi, Lazy Dog, Gorditas and Fresh Fresh. We loved exploring the grocery stores in Sosua and Cabarete, as our high school grad was our Spanish interpreter. The newest store in Sosua - Super Pola - is beautiful and has Valentino's Ice Cream Shop just inside the front door, which we frequented during our stay. The other grocery, Supermarcado Playero, is almost like SuperTarget, with lots of offerings other than just food. And Janet's in Cabarete is good as well. Having the kitchen - and being able to eat breakfast and lunch while at the pool or beach was a plus. We have awesome memories from Ocean Pointe and Kite Beach!

Perfection Personified!

We stayed in this beautiful condo mid March of 2013 and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time! My boyfriend is a kite-surfer so we picked this location primarily for the kite-surfing which is right outside the back door. We had others in our group that did not kite-surf and enjoyed the location and condo just as much. As the previous reviewer, we also used Alcedes for transportation who was very kind and took us everywhere we needed to go. Unfortunately for Alcedes we really didn't want to go anywhere as we were very happy just relaxing by the pool and watching the kite-surfering. Food: Food in Cabarete is hit or miss. The first night we walked the beach to town and had dinner. I cant remember the name of the place but it was one of the first restaurants on the strip and had white cushioned benches.Nobody else was eating there but we were tired and hungry so we sat down just wanting food. We were pleasantly surprised as the food was great and the prices were unbelievable. The four of us split two enormous platters that had steak/lobster/fish/chicken/shrimp and probably some other stuff. It was plenty of food for 4 people and ridiculously inexpensive. Other places we ate: Coco Loco right next door, small but nice menu Chris the owner was very nice & accommodating. Vacabar: two hotels over, Great lunch! Otra Cosa restaurant was amazing! This restaurant is on the other end of town but still in Cabarete so it was a quick 5 minute cab ride. The ambiance was very nice as it is outdoor dinning on a slight cliff over looking the ocean. The food was FANTASTIC!!! Everyone left happy from this meal. Fruit: Right outside the complex is a local fruit stand...if you want fresh fruit this is where you should go. We had fruit smoothies all day everyday! For the most part our days were spent doing NOTHING but laying by the pool and watching the view. It was absolutely wonderful! I truly never felt so relaxed in my life and I hope to return very soon!

A WEEK IN PARADISE !!!!!

This is our third visit to this incredibly spacious, well decorated first floor penthouse in five years. (If we could, we would be here so much more often.) Our biggest decisions are whether we should sit on the deck chairs watching the kite boarders, swim in the gigantic pool, or take a nap under the grass hut. Since we do not cook in the evenings, we have enjoyed pizza and mojitos on the beach in Cabareta, a spectacular gourmet meal at the Sea Horse Ranch restaurant and the MOST delicious shrimp and longestino dish at La Casitas (also on the beach in Cabaretta.) Our children (20 and 18) who each brought a friend and my 85 yr old father all agreed that this property was their IDEAL tropical vacation destination. The kids took surfing and wind surfing lessons (nearby), paddled boarded in the morning (rented the boards next door) or walked just a simple 50 steps to the beach (can you believe it... No where can you have the ocean steps outside your back door!) A leisurely walk along the beach to Cabarete is roughly 30 minutes... Delivering you to the fun Mojito Bar or to a few dozen beach restaurants/bars. Or.... We call Alcedes (a local "driver" who has been transporting the owners and their renters for years) to drive us whenever we want... Including airport pick-up and return. (Get Alcedes phone # from the owners as renting a vehicle is completely unnecessary and not really recommended.) The photos on the website for this unit truly represent the pure beauty of the property, the scenery just outside the back porch and the wonderful interior accommodations! Enjoy your Dominican get away!
