"From a picture, we thought we would be closer to the water. There was a little view of it. This would be a great place for families with children in the warmer months, pool, and lots of room to run around or ride bikes. This is an older hotel that has been updated. We wanted to Uber into Bar Harbor but no Ubers were in the area. Luckily we were able to find parking both evenings."

"We did a lot of walking while we were here. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. Great location for us. Staff were great. We felt like it was a great value for what we received. We also enjoyed the carry and go breakfast. We ended up using them as snacks after our many hikes."

"Overall, we were very pleased with the property. The bathroom looked brand-new and everything was very clean and the staff was pleasant. Our room was quiet. The breakfast consisted of boxed cereal, individually wrapped pastries, etc. As for protein, peanut butter was available to put on toast, they had a quality brand yogurt and on my last day I noticed that there was a microwaveable burrito. Not a particularly appetizing selection. Think of the breakfast as grab-and-go kind of snacks. I could not give the property a higher rank because of this."
