"The hotel is very well situated in the city, meaning you can get to the docks, and railway station and other areas in under 15 minutes walking. The lady that was on breakfast service was lovely and even though we had a language barrier, she was very helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

"Not at all as advertised. It shows up as a 4 star hotel. Instead imagine an old short-term rental studio with a confusing check-in and zero assistance. No front desk, no person to help. We got in and there were 4 packets with 4 different room keys sitting on a desk. Which room was ours? No clue. There were no names on the packets. "SAN Giorgio Rooms are fantastic! The front desk gentleman was very kind and spoke very good English. He took the time to draw out all the highlights to see close to the hotel. The largest aquarium in Europe is just across the plaza. The sheets on the bed are so crisp and the down comforter was so warm. Highly recommend this accommodation. It is very private and not like a regular hotel with front desk, restaurant etc."

The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. "Loved it for the adventure and friendly staff. But it's not a typical hotel: Finding the unmarked entry and making sure we coordinated arrival with our hosts. But it worked out perfectly. It's really an old "inn." Plus there are a few flights of stairs. But it's location right in the center of everything walkable (but not loud and off the main street). (Not good for cars probably.)"

"Shared bathroom means you could be waiting a while to use it. At time of my bathroom was occupied for almost an hour by 2 women in other room so you can be in trouble if you urgently need to use toilet as there are no other options, at least none I was made aware of. Also the place can be very noisy. Room was adjoining front entrance and you could hear people coming and going."

"Traveling with my parents, there is no information on the website of how it is, they are in the 4th floor of a building that seems to be an office building, too many stairs for olden people, definitely not older people friendly, the elevators are way too small. "Beautiful house, clean and comfortable, very nice host. There is quite a long very narrow drive going up the mountain. Parking was on the road where you can find a spot. The walk from the street to home is about 10 mins. Easier down the up with luggage. The town is mostly residential. There is only 1 restaurant open and the hours are limited. No wine bar as google says, no grocery. My only recommendation to host would be to provide some basic essentials, (bottled water, coffee..) as the trip...
