Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend! There is also easy access via ferry to gorgeous San Fruttuoso and Portofino! There's also a train very close walking distance from the hotel that you can take to get to the Cinque Terre towns in around 45 mins. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

The property was lovely but the staff was another level. Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant, the spa, and the door staff were all welcoming and accommodating. Simone and Jessica made our entire stay completely hassle free. The restaurant had great menu and the food was excellent. Highly recommend, I can’t wait to be back.

The staff was very helpful with everything we needed on where to park to how to get around. Breakfast was very nice and the rooms were so pretty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Great location near everything on the water had a balcony and roof top bar overlooking the bay !! Comfy bed and very clean.

Impressed by an updated and specious room with a huge balcony and spectacular view. Clean overall, a bit tight shower, but other perks are worth it. Great pool and check out at 12pm is a plus too.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.
