You can watch the waves breaking on the shore from the conservatory during the daytime and the lights of the fishing boats in the bay from the upstairs lounge at night. The shop opposite is well stocked and the community cafe does great scones. Several good walks nearby along with birdwatching and archaeological remains. Definitely somewhere to return to. "Really good value - everything that a small family needs for a break including a dishwasher! Lots of character with excellent views of the harbour and castle from the living room and bedroom on the second floor.Perfect for shops, cafes and galleries. Easy parking and a very pleasant neighbourhood to walk around day or night. Really appreciated the refreshments left for us by the host in the fridge on arrival. Would definitely return."
