"This listing should not be on VRBO... everything from the get go was terrible. We were promises a luxurious sea front property but the whole area is dirty and falling apart. Impossible to park. We looked at the place and turned around. Owner apologized and promised us a refund but have not gotten anything a week later. The building is in chambles. The whole area is a ghetto... We got pulled over by the police who were wounderong why foreign tourists were in the area. This is a scam. No way...

"We had an amazing stay in Gaeta and this beautiful apartment was a perfect home away from home. While the apartment is comfortable, clean and convenient, the real star is the spectacular garden with views of the Gulf of Gaeta. It's the perfect spot for morning cappuccino, mid-day siesta or evening dinner. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming and made us feel like we were home. We can't wait to come back again!"
