"I had a wonderful stay at the Studio. Clean and quiet. The little kitchen was a great size for 1.The closeness to the ocean, and the dock access was a pleasant surprise.The work being done on the highway into town was the only drawback. Too many cars on the road blocking the only access to the parking lot. "

"Our group (two couples) really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Check-in and communication with Cindy was a breeze. The cabin was comfortable for four adults, with two bathrooms and enough space to comfortably hang out in the living room together. The kitchen had basic equipment for cooking and a few essential pantry items like salt and oil. The view through the woods out to the water was beautiful. The hosts live on the property but we never bumped into each other. Location is great for exploring Sooke or any of the nearby parks, and the property is right on the Galloping Goose Trail. One downside to mention is the beds. The upstairs queen was extremely firm; as a back sleeper I didn't mind, but my partner is a side-sleeper and struggled to sleep the first night. He ended up sleeping in the bunk bed room for the rest of our stay, which he said was much more comfortable. Our friends stayed downstairs on the softer mattress, which they described as so soft it was almost concave and pushed them both into the middle of the bed. Some people might like that, but our friends weren't big fans! Just something to be aware of. We would all still happily stay here again and recommend it to others!"
