Traveling solo and felt very safe. Room was clean and breakfast was varied and fresh.

Third time to stay there, great staff, still wish the room had a coffee maker. Very quaint with the 1950’s motel feel.

Went to go stargazing from the 4th to the 6th, weather ended being a problem. Just enjoyed the property and played board games. Still a great time!

The people were polite it was a breath of fresh air. We had lunch at La Mexicana. Theirs beef quesadillas were amazing. I am Mexican and i was more than pleased. Their caldo was salty. But their politebess and manners was fantastic
Growing up in this area I have always liked both the area and the people here. Easy gateway to to Mexico and Big Bend area as well.
Checked in after dark and will leave shortly after daylight! 路♀️
