"This is a modern, clean hotel that is in a pretty inconvenient location for seeing Delft or the Hague. It is co-located with a casino and buffet restaurant, kind of in the middle of big-box stores, fast food restaurants, and a highway. There was also construction that disabled the bus stops that were supposed to be right next to the hotel, so you had to walk for a bit in awkward conditions next to traffic to get to a tram to get to Delft or the Hague. "This was my first trip to Rotterdam. I lucked out with this hotel. For someone looking for a typical hotel experience, simply look at the name. The staff was excellent and friendly. I rented a bike at the front desk and I was able to easily get around town. The note in the room was a special touch. The bar/restaurant on site was excellent. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel finely. We did unfortunately have to change rooms due to a buzzing noise from the refrigeration system. Fortunately, this went easily and we were upgraded to one of the suites. It should be mentioned that the front of the hotel and restaurant 1937 both look fantastic but the experience towards and in the rooms is authentic and somewhat dated."
