"The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay."

"We enjoyed our week at this well appointed cabin with a beautiful lake view from the comfortable deck. The kitchen and living space made preparing meals and relaxing a pleasure. Convenient to Acadia National Park and other parts of Mt. Desert Island, this is a good spot for a rejuvenating vacation in nature, but close enough to all amenities and services, including an easy ride to Bar Harbor."

"This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had...

"The cottage is very well designed and comfortable. The location is not as desirable as it is situated near the road and pigs which makes sitting outside less appealing: there is a sour smell coming from the vegetable matter in the pig’s pen. That said once inside the cabin it is very charming. Even on very hot days the cabin cooled down at night. (No overhead fan in loft but small battery operated fans can be used). "Everything was GREAT! We didn’t care for the stairs because we’re in our 70’s and it was a bit much for us. Just a suggestion to add a grab rail in the bath for older folks. We will return everyone was so sweet! "
