"Nice public house hotel, initial issue with parking as full with parents collecting children, check in issue as could not find key, woken up at 5.00am with banging from below my room, breakfast not until 8.30. Room very comfortable and tidy, area around property very nice. WI-FI a little slow"

"Sue and Graham are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. The property has so much character, well maintained and very clean. Other than the weak wifi connection in the room, everything else was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a really highlight - great options for vegetarians and pescatarian alike. "The Covenstead is a most unusual and lovely place to stay in heart of Glastonbury close to the Abbey ruins. The hotel is furnished with a unique and fascinating collection of antiques and artifacts throughout, and guests have access to several common areas on the ground floor as well as a pretty garden. Individual rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The friendly staff are most welcoming and work very hard to accommodate guests needs, as well as serve breakfasts...

"Lovely accommodation including spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom. Shared kitchen which is useful. More than ample parking which is free. In great proximity for Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar, Longleat etc, 5 min drive to nearest pub restaurant. Friendly owners. Recommended."
