"We like the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms are very nice and the bed sleeps well. Like the quality of the pillows, sheets, and towels. The weather was beautiful and sunny so we enjoyed sitting outside on the comfortable lounge chairs. The scenery was beautiful with the lake & boats. The location is perfect. The bike trails are right next to the parking lot. Also, the chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch! We always stay at the Weathervane when we take our annual bike trip to Montague. There’s also pickleball available not too far away in Whitehall."

"Host was very accommodating and the place and views were beautiful, I would have given it the highest rating except they don't leave you any extra toilet paper, paper towels, or garbage bags other than what is already on the rolls or in the cans in addition to no extra bath towels, only 2 per bathroom"

"This hotel had clean rooms, plenty of linens available, responsive staff, and a really warm hot tub(though several jets did not work ). The indoor pool was clean and comfortably cool. The breakfast was good, serving variety of eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, muffins, fruit, and the make your own waffles. Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate, coffee, tea, milk, juice were available as well."

"We stayed at the lodge for our annual girls trip and had a fabulous time! We like to go somewhere different every year and this location did not disappoint. The lodge was perfect for the group as we all had our own bedrooms. Thankfully we had amazing weather all weekend! The view of the lake is phenomenal from all of the decks and different floors of the house. The fire pit was amazing as well. The town of Newaygo is very quaint, with plenty of shopping and bars."

"Loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. Don and Sandra are great hosts and made us feel right at home. Sandra even gave us a personal tour of the cabin upon our arrival, which was a great touch. The cabin is spacious and well-stocked. The pickleball court is definitely the cherry on top. Will definitely come back!"

"Very unique property. Wasn’t aware of the bathroom being outside the house. The top of the driveway has very loose gravel and it’s very steep causing one of us to fall. It also lists as wheelchair accessible (we didn’t need) but it would be very dangerous and the bathroom door is not ADA compliant. Other than those few things it was a very pleasant stay."
