Walking distance to Rideau, Lincourt & Buttonwood winery/farm, and a bit further Bob's Well Bread.
5 min by car to the centers of Solvang, Los Olivos and Santa Ynez or make a loop and enjoy the scenery on our bicycles, provided to you at no charge!
30-40 min by car to Santa Barbara Beaches!

Our gated Solar Powered property is approached by 1/4 mile of driveway lined with 25+ foot tall cypress trees.
This 3bed/2bath home is about 300 feet from our Main House. It has a well equipped Chef's kitchen, dining table for 6 people, whole house water filter, Dependable High speed WiFi, 65" Samsung smart TV in living room and comfortable L shaped couch. Super comfy beds! King size bed in Master, Queen size in both other bedrooms. All have TV's with Roku.
Very nice covered patio with outdoor seating and dinning table for 6 people, Weber propane BBQ, and awesome mountain views. Darts, Corn hole, and Foosball table in the Garage and books and games at the house. Walking distance to wineries, 6 bicycles to use at no charge, etc...

There is a beautiful pond on the property with water fall that our guests may enjoy during daylight. It has its own little beach.
** Kids under 12 years of age, only allowed with responsible adult supervision. **No swimming or entering the pond allowed! (Sorry, boat is only for pond service and decoration.)

An Iron, Ironing Board and Hair Dryers are at our home for our guests to use during their stay!
The Weber Gas BBQ on the patio is free to use and propane is included!

Our bicycles are available at no charge to our guests but at their own risk! Flats are $20/tire.
We have basic bicycle locks and a few helmets available, or you may bring your own!

For Guests with a Baby: A Pack 'N Play- Napper and a Baby High Chair is available at No charge.

Interaction with Guests:
My wife Hilde and I enjoy a nice chat with our Guests, but will always provide and respect their peace and privacy.

The Neighborhood:
Ballard (Solvang), the center of the Santa Ynez Valley was the first town that settled here in the late 1800's!
Surrounded by vineyards, mountains, horse ranches, farms and schoolhouses, you feel as you have arrived in a time warp of sorts where simple pleasures, mossy oaks, grassy fields, and warm sunny days are found.
We feel so fortunate to live here, closely guard its quiet serenity and are grateful for all the beauty, amenities, world class wineries, restaurants, breweries, and shopping this Valley has to offer.
A Beautiful route from our home to the charming towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang or Buellton takes only 5 to 10 minutes by car.
