"Really lovely old hotel within 3 minutes walk of the station. Spacious and comfortable and lovely staff. Slightly limited dinner menu but what we ate was delicious and good quality. Fabulous breakfasts too and comfy beds after walking the Gotaleden trail."

"I recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Vänersborg, Sweden, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. It was well-prepared and satisfying, and we appreciated the variety. While the room was a bit on the small side, it served its purpose and was comfortable enough for our needs. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions we had. Their hospitality really made a difference in our stay. In summary, the Quality Inn provided a convenient and basic stay that works fine for one night passing through town. Great breakfast and helpful staff. "Excellent service. Very quiet and beautiful location. The staff at the restaurant were amazing. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and they made me the most delicious steak and potatoes. The cocktail I ordered was delicious too. For a small town this hotel and restaurant go above and beyond. Their food is more like a 5 star restaurant. Thank you!!!"

"Property was fine but staff not warm and welcoming at all. We stayed a week and breakfast staff said “Hi” once. Never even checked we were guests. Beds very soft but shower was good. TV limited options for international traveler. "

"This was our first time here, but not our first in Trollhättan. The hotel is older, but very well kept. The staff (especially the owner, Ulrika, who works there) are really terrific and helpful. Our room had older, beautiful furniture. Common areas had nice touches like fresh flowers from Ulrika's mother's garden. Breakfast was terrific! The home-baked bread was delicious, and there was a very good variety of foods to choose from. The only difficulties were that the bath/shower was difficult to step into for an older person and the lovely streetscape from the year before is torn up in many places while the city's water supply pipes are being replaced (after 80 years service). Those repairs we are told should be done by summer 2025. Otherwise, a lovely and friendly stay."
