"The facility does not have an elevator. We were told the building is part of the UNESCO site and cannot be retrofitted with an elevator. We were fine with stairs but some people may need to consider this when choosing where to stay. The room was also the smallest of all the places we stayed in Croatia during our 10-day trip. We managed well since it was only me and my wife and we are very fit. The host Toni is a very nice guy and gave many excellent recommendations on restaurants and money...

"We have just spent 3 nights at Splendida Palace and what an amazing boutique hotel. It is located up a small quiet road where we were allocated a private parking space. We were greeted by Marija, a very happy and positive person who speaks very good English. She gave us lots of tips on where to visit which were really useful. Included breakfast was good - more than adequate with choice of hot/cold foods, breads, cereals, coffees, etc. Not sure what others are expecting for a small hotel with 7-ish rooms. Docked 1 star for parking which is expensive at 15 euros/night."

"The building is a medical centre and hotel. The entrance via a corridor off the main road and is initially off putting. It is a bit away from the main town but bus stops outside. The roads outside are busy and some traffic noise unless windows closed, but good air con makes this ok. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit basic but nicely set out.
