Would definitely recommend a car to get you to the fantastic beaches and to the nearby resorts of Santona. Easy direct access to or from Santnader or Bilbao or head in land towards the mountains and cave art. A great place to stay and explore this part of Northern Spain. "Wonderful staff, accomodated a wine bucket, glasses, & cork screw for our room for the Rioja we picked up the day before. They stored our luggage while we walked along the beach promanade after checkout. The parking under the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful! "
