"The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. "This house had ample room for everyone, and was right on the main road with the bus to Grindelwald. The beds were comfortable, and we had a room unlocked for us so that each person could have their own room. We appreciated the large dining room table and kitchen that had all we needed. Note: the garbage bags are under the Oven but we did not know that. Also we learned after our exit that we were to take all of our recycling with us when we left and drop it off at different places in the town....

The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. The steps are worth the effort, however, as the views are spectacular. The walk from the Terminal is lovely if not steep :). We had a fabulous time at Chalet M and...
