"Cute a-frame with lake view; clean but smallish. Beds were comfortable but no door on one bedroom so not very private. Kitchen is small - no dishwasher; no bakeware other than cookie sheets, no storage bowls, etc so plan to bring your own or purchase locally like we did. We liked the property but would probably try another location if we return."

"Very cute cottage. The glass door on the bathroom could use a curtain. The path to the cottage is really not handicapped accessible making it difficult for older people to walk and carry luggage."

"Love the place. Soft bed and pretty location. Neighborhood was nice. Close to the city and hiking trails. I recommend if you are coming from the Chattanooga side to take 127 up to the place instead of Anderson pike. Anderson has quite a lot of tight switchback turns which might be tough if you aren't used to them or have a longer vehicle. The house was cute and was a comfortable quiet space."

"The house was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (paper towels, foil, salt/pepper, pots/pans, plastic bags, etc.). We truly only had to buy food and drinks during our stay. There were games and books to entertain a 2 year old in between outings. We loved the swing and outdoor scrabble board on the screened in front porch! We appreciated the easy to control temperature and there was a fan in the main bedroom that we used for white noise. "This house was adorable! The quiet neighborhood, peaceful water view, and quaint location was a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend for this momma. My only drawbacks were the missing blinds to a glass windowed side door, which would have been appreciated for more privacy, and a hurting neck for the next few days. I recommend bringing your own pillow. Overall, we had everything we needed for a recuperating retreat and we hope to visit again!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The little cottage was perfect!!! Nestled in the woods not far from the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in deck listening to the birds and crickets. It was so peaceful and the cottage was adorable!!! We really enjoyed our get away! Highly reccomend!!"

"The cabin was very tiny but in good condition. It appeared like it was very nice not too long ago but has recently been let go. There were goats and chickens all around my cabin and they kept getting out of the pin.The property had a lot of junk around the back including a fish tank with old green water standing in it ,broken pallets and a old rusted flat bed hitch trailer piled with junk. "We absolutely loved everything about this property and our stay here, we were there for 4 nights. Its newly renovated and in great shape. Large back yard for our small dog to use. Easy to find and access. Its very close to the heart of downtown Dayton. All in all, there is probably nothing close to this level of personal property for rent in the Dayton area, I would always choose to stay here when I return if its available, and if you are debating between two choices I can tell you right now,...

"There were 8 of us. The house is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths we were able to spread out and have our own space. Mariella, the owner, was extremely helpful every time we had questions. She even took the time to put fresh cut flowers on the table and entryway! Such a thoughtful touch! "We stayed here for the second time, this time for our 10th anniversary. The cabin is clean and quiet. The views are beautiful although the trees have grown up a bit in the 4 years since we’ve been. The hot tub in the back is perfect. You’re 20-30 minutes from anything you’d want or need in Chattanooga. The host is very kind and helpful. No complaints."
