"I'd rate this cottage, in all its grandeur, a 9.3/10. It is an ideal distance from the Yosemite National Park entrance. Surrounded by a quiet, amazing community this cottage truly gives the 1900s charming vibe. Come prepared to bat off swarming bees and wasps if intending to use the grill, however, this is probably a seasonal issue (spring/winter vs summer time). Summer heat is no joke in Mariposa so take advantage of the fans and swamp cooler, nonetheless, it was a great time!"

"Wow - what can I say, this place is amazing. We stayed for 3 nights explored Yosemite and surrounding area, if you want a perfect location with amazing host’s I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it takes approx 1.30hrs to get into the park, but the drive is easy and scenery is amazing…The cottage is exactly as described and so far our favourite location whilst touring around the area.If we ever come back to visit the area, we will definitely be back…1st rate 👌"

"Our stay at this property was wonderful! My only complaint is that it was too short so we were unable to enjoy some of the nearby amenities. It was an easy drive to Yosemite. Grocery store was close and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again! "

"We loved the house and definitely will be requesting again when we go back out to Merced. Everything was close by. The beds were comfortable, loved that we had a washer and dryer to use, and we cooked breakfast everyday. Due to the circumstances of being in Merced, it allowed the whole family to be able to gather and be together. Great place!"

"This property was not very clean. The uard was overgrown. We had to wash everything before we used it. The dishwasher had leaked and was broken causing the laminate floor to be soft and warped but they did give a $50 gift card for compensation and did provide some paper plates, cups and utensils which was nice."

"What an adorable place to stay after a long backpacking trip in yosemite!! Bed was super comfortable. The showers including indoor and outdoor clean and refreshing! Had a quaint feel and the firepit on the deck a treat! Felt like home. Hot water for coffee and tea! Loved the little town of Mariposa and all the cute shops! "
