"We loved this place! As advertised, it’s several hundred years old, located in a city that is much older than that, across the street from a church founded around the year 800. Ribe is really marvelous, and the Weis Stue is a unique and ideally located spot to explore it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. If you love history and want to feel a part of it, we highly recommend it."

"Every door was closed and locked at arrival . Nobody came when we rang the bell and knocked. Nobody answered the 2 numbers we tried to phone. After half an our we got hold of somebody and one of the numbers also phoned back. The room is very dated and it was difficult to turn on the light and some lamps never worked. As this was a place with a restaurant we expected to get something to eat in the evening, but the kitchen had closed by 19.30 without any information. The place offers breakfast but...

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ribe. The hotel and room were comfortable and charming. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The owner, sons and staff were all very pleasant and happy to help with whatever we needed. I hope we get a chance to return to Ribe and stay at this lovely hotel."
