"The hotel although old was well maintained. It was a fun stay. The room was very large and the bathroom was impressive but we did have a few hot water issues. Looked at a few other equivalent hotels while in Panama City, but we were very happy with our pick. Staff was very helpful"

"Amazing location. Watch ships enter and leaving the Panama Canal. The host was very communicative and helpful. Don’t worry about being a little fa away from the city. Uber was always available and it’s just a 15 ride to Casco Viejo. And being outside the city there was no noise. Very tranquil. The only difficult thing for me was that the blinds are virtually transparent and the sun woke me up at 5:30am every day. Other than that I highly recommend."

"The hotel is great. It's in a perfect location for exploring the Old Town and is very walkable. The only problem is the check-in because Hotels.com is supposed to send you a code to check in, and both times we stayed here they did not, so check-in took a while. There seems to be a disconnect between the Hotels.com process and the local process."

"The Positives: The hotel is beautiful with a cute rooftop dining area and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Location is perfect for walking around Casco Vijeo. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Negatives: The room I had was on the fourth floor with window facing the foyer, so you could here just about everything. Music lasted until 1130pm and started again at 7:30am so couldn't get a restful sleep. Room was clean but bed linen was stained and bath towels stained. If it had not been for the dirty linen and noise level, I would give 5 Stars."

"the property has a lot of potential but left a sour taste in our mouth, I read many reviews but chose to ignore the negatives because of the great central location it was in. the only good thing about the property was the cleaning staff, they kept the place super clean and fixed our room including our personal items every morning. we stayed for 3 days and 2 out of those 2 days we woke up to no power or water, we were told there was an explosion but we were not accommodated with not even a bottle of water to wash our face or brush our teeth. we had to go to a store nearby and purchase a gallon of water. we spend the entire day out and came back late night and the power and water were back on. the following morning we woke up to no water again and the morning front desk agent spoke no english at this point it was our last day and we're were ready to go home. stay there at your own risk, the location is great if you want to be in casco viejo and walking distance to its nightlife the restaurant upstairs was also flop. "
