"Cute little cottage in a quiet development. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and neat. Driveway was a little tight for our van but would be fine for a car or SUV. Very convenient to Grandfather mountain which is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your cottage."

"Kathy was a great host. Was quick to respond to all my emails. We actually got to meet her. It felt like we were hanging around with a long lost friend. Could not have had a better host. The cottage was awesome, met our every need. Loved the babbling river off the back port, so peaceful. The cabin also has a great/central location, we traveled to Little Switzerland, Boone and Linville. Thanks Kathy for a great stay!!! Hope to visit again ..."

"This is beautiful family-owned rustic mountain cabin. We enjoyed the space and especially the stream nearby. Issue with the portable AC was quickly addressed, we were the first guest of the summer season but got it worked out. Owner was great to work with."

"This property was very nice. The communication from the host was very good. Only three main negatives. 1.) Having the 2nd bedroom outside of the main property and not attached was inconvenient. 2.) The couch and chair in the living room are old, saggy, and not comfortable. 3.) The pots and pans are very old and appear to be teflon, and some were scratched. Other than those three negatives we enjoyed our stay,"

"This house was a good find. Having a golf cart was an amazing benefit and, in my opinion, a must for this community. The house was very clean and spacious on the inside. I would have wished for a bigger outside seating area but overall this is a great rental property."
