"The sheets/bedding were clean and bed was comfortable. However, the overall appearance of the hotel exterior, and interior are sub par. Hallways are dark and dingy. My room was in dire need of repair and updating. Curtains/drapes were soiled and had holes in them. Bathroom needs new paint job, tub was badly stained/worn."

"We arrived late at night. Hotels.com indicated that the hotel offered 24-hour front desk service, but when we arrived, the property was locked and there was no staff available. We tried calling the hotel directly several times, but no one answered. As a result, we were unable to check in and had to call several other hotels before finding one with a vacancy. Unfortunately, the only available option was a very poor-quality hotel that we would not otherwise have chosen. Given that the advertised 24-hour front desk service was not available and we were unable to access the accommodation we had reserved, I believe I am entitled to a full refund."

"I liked staying at the Redwood Lodge. On my second overnight trip, I had to lodge elsewhere as the price was getting unaffordable for the working man. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. My biggest problem was I was assigned the only room in the building that did not have a number on the door. I had to look at all the surrounding doors to rule out that the door with no number was my room number. In the morning, the clerk showed me the room number, it had been found on the ground of the hallway by the cleaning staff, and had not been reinstalled."

"The paint is falling off outside. The inside has multiple rooms with notices from the fire marshal stating they are a fire hazard and do not occupy. The ceiling in the halls are torn apart. They either need to demo the building or close the place and fix everything including the odd smell that permeates throughout."

"Could not communicate I had reservations through Expedia but I got there and they were canceled so lucky they had a room still. The host could not tell me why, it took a long time to to do all of this 20 minutes at.least. The host was hard to communicate with but I understand she probably had a very rough day if she had to deal with all of this with others too. Skip breakfast not good coffee will never stay with them again"
