"We had a brilliant stay at Codley Farm Cottage. The house was really comfortable and very well equipped. The welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated after the long drive. We made good use of the free entry into the Vindolanda site (which is simply mind blowing) and the Roman Army Museum. The house is perfectly situated for lots of lovely walks all from the front door and we had a brilliant evening at the nearby Kielder Observatory. A wonderful week that we hope to repeat one day -...

"Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area."

"The cottage was lovely, clean and cosy. But the cottage its self is very remote . You need to get your supplies before you get there as there is nothing in the cottage has in a welcome pack . The hot tub was only luke warm and was never checked all weekend. Which wasnt good ! I was expecting it to be hot / warm . "The four of us had a wonderful stay in Dunkeld Cottage. The stone cottage was lovely - though the two tall men had to learn to duck at the kitchen door! The living spaces and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with top-quality Siemens stove top and oven, a good dishwasher and much appreciated washer and dryer.
