Staying at the state Park was wonderful! You can park your car and not leave! But we also enjoyed going to the nearby local places like Miguel’s pizza, Daniel Boone Coffee and oh the fudge at the peddlers shoppe is a must!

"We were looking for a place to stay for 1 night on our way to another destination. This was one of the cheaper places to stay, and I'd stay there again. The rooms were small, but clean and quiet. They had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine."

"We stayed for the weekend in the lodge. The breakfast and amenities were fine. We liked the location. There was so much to do! Everything was clean and functional. A little out-dated, but charming. We would definitely stay again and we're pleased with our stay. Dan at the Tavern made our night!"
