Staying at the state Park was wonderful! You can park your car and not leave! But we also enjoyed going to the nearby local places like Miguel’s pizza, Daniel Boone Coffee and oh the fudge at the peddlers shoppe is a must!

"Beautiful scenery and excellent hiking trails! The hotel is a bit dated, but the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was very kind and welcoming. We would for sure stay again!"

Great Getaway
"The cabin is wonderful! Very comfortable. The owners were kind enough to give us a late check out to accommodate a funeral we needed to attend. The outdoor space is wonderful as well and we were able to use the hot tub while visiting."
