"Filthy, unvacummed carpet. Walked in room, checked sheets and saw some black speck and other filth. Sliding door was wide open and ciggerette buts on crappy balconey the faced some thirdworld hellscape, a fence or concrete wall about a foot away. Pictures very misleading. Instead of the dated, not great budget hotel I was expecting, it was cleary something much worse. Walk to bush gardens (at your own peril)! I walked right back to my car, found a reputable hotel, and checked my clothes and bag for bedbugs. Stay away! Spend the extra $40 for a hotel with clean sheets and a vacuum cleaner, unless you've budgeted the extra money for crack and a prostitute. Glad there was a cop car accross the street at the hot dog stand keeping an eye on things or I might not have made it out alive. Back the blue!!"

"I stayed here for 7 days and overall had a positive experience, especially thanks to the staff and location. The front desk is available 24 hours, which was incredibly convenient, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a full spread and plenty of options each morning. The air conditioning in the Florida heat worked literally magic. It was consistent and kept the room so cold it was always a balm when we came in each evening. The hotel’s design has a nice aesthetic, and the location is a major highlight. Being in Temple Terrace and directly across from Busch Gardens made it easy to enjoy the park and even catch the atmosphere from nearby events and concerts. That said, there are a few areas where the room could be improved. I stayed in a deluxe room, and while it had a lot of potential, there were some maintenance concerns. The bathroom vent wasn’t properly fitted, leaving a visible opening in the ceiling. The room door didn’t fully seal at the bottom corner, and the microwave was unusually loud after running for a short time. I also did notice a few bugs during my stay, which is something I hope management addresses. Overall, the strengths of the staff, breakfast, and location really stood out to me. With some attention to room maintenance and upkeep, this could easily be an even better stay."

"The hotel is in a good location, close to the University and busy retail and restaurants. Also down the street from Busch Gardens. Good parking and quiet. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast set up included."

"For the price, I was very surprised at the condition of the property. I travel fairly often and certainly wasn’t expecting the Taj Mahal, but I didn’t the bathroom door to be so beat up and the laminate peeling off of surfaces…that being said… it was clean and bed was very comfortable!! Staff was very friendly as well."
