"This hotel is amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Right across the street from the hotel is a hiking trail around the lake. There are at least 3 to 4 volcanoes that you can see. There is an ice cream store beside the hotel that makes all their own ice cream. It was delicious."
"Kindness, friendliness & effectiveness of stuff, level of organization, tidiness and maintenance of the property and guest room, as well as the restaurant were all beyond our expectations. Dinner was great, especially the special for two: taste and freshness went together that left us deep impression."
"Less of a B&B more a small room in a porta-cabin with an ensuite. This is part of a camp ground and hostel facility, the cabins are further away from where you check in so head to the camp ground reception to check in first, bearing in mind check in hours are limited and start late (5pm - 8pm).
Breakfast was a good selection and in a breakfast room that sits in one of the cabins, they also had Gluten free bread available on request. We were in the room that was attached to the breakfast room so was an early wake up when the staff arrived to start prepping breakfast (which wasn't ideal with an infant). Listing suggest kettle would be in your room, but its in the breakfast room (which you can access when you want - and has free tea and coffee).
Our room had a broken door handle which made opening and closing it difficult.
Accommodation was OK just very small and not what we were expecting from a B&B.
Location was good and close to all the sights in Myvatn."
