"We had a brilliant room overlooking the waterfront with a full glazed screen; I would say 50% of the rooms offering a view of the waterfront have such glazing and the rest will offer a view through a smaller standard window.
The communal lounge with its enormous modern feature fire place offered heat from a continual log burning fire was a nice addition and there were a variety of good seating areas elsewhere."
"Fabulous hotel, very clean, great breakfast, good location. Restaurant is lovely, only downside was that it didn’t change it’s menu at all during the four nights we were there. Some variety would have been nice."
"We found a stunning refuge in the hotel Union Oye. The place is so beautiful and you feel like you have stepped back in time. The staff are very kind and helpful. The floating sauna was a highlight.

"The hotel is clean and tidy, renovated and decorated. Excellent breakfast, courteous and helpful staff, located a few minutes' walk from the center. There is one problem, the shower doors do not seal and all the water comes out and floods the bathroom floor."

Secluded location with nearby fantastic areas to explore including Alesund and Trollstigen.would have been better if the driveway to house was grated and leveled in order to drive up to unload. Also, we were traveling quite a bit and would have been nice to have laundry working."
