Here comes real vacation feeling!

The Danish flag flies in the wind of the North Sea, the sun shines on the large terrace with windbreak and on the grill sizzles the fresh - and maybe even self-caught - fish.

During the day you fight with the wild waves of the North Sea or learn windsurfing on the fjord. You walk through the beautiful flat nature of Jutland and see different species of animals and plants that you have never seen anywhere else.

There is an activity room in the garage and in the warm summer months you can cook your meals in the outdoor kitchen.

In the evening, snuggle up on one of the sofas in the living room and listen to the quiet crackling of the firewood.

The small village of Stauning with Stauning Strand and Stauning Havn on Ringkobing Fjord is only 7 km from Skjern and offers the guarantee of a tranquil vacation in very quiet cottage areas.

The harbor was first established in 1937 and is now mainly used by recreational captains.

At the edge of the idyllic harbor basin are the old fishermen's cottages, all of which are listed and are one of the most popular photo motifs on the fjord.

In the town itself there is a supermarket, galleries, the old church from 1150 and as one of the top attractions at Stauning airport the aircraft museum.

Also be sure to visit the WOW Park in Skjern and the Viking harbor in Bork.
