"Very friendly and welcoming, lovely and clean. The bedroom was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and TV, comfy bed and en suite was very clean too. Slept extremely soundly. Breakfast was fantastic, best quality bacon, lovely sausage, couldn’t fault it! For the price it was very reasonable and only a 10-minute walk from the station. Parking permit/disc was arranged by the owner so having free parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much."

"Last minute booking and what a great little find. Room was spacious and beds comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Shower was pretty low pressure but got us all clean and in all we had a great stay. Location is brilliant, 10 mins walk to the beach and 15/20 mins walk into Whitby centre. Only downside is no breakfast available but plenty of places in Whitby for this. "

Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. "Absolutely wonderful place. Very comfortable room, toiletries is bathroom, all the tea, coffee and hot chocolate you want. Great sized TV as well as desk and comfy chair. Beautifully decorated. Fridge, microwave, plates etc. in downstairs hall as well as extra sugar, tea etc. Lots of parking. Absolutely loved it. Handy for beach , fish and chip shops, ice cream etc. 10 minutes drive to Hartlepool. Excellent. "

"The Europa was easy to find and we parked right outside it, we were given a warm welcome and all the required information about keys / breakfast etc, our room was lovely and spacious, it was scrupulously clean as was the bathroom and had everything you could want. The bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep, plenty of hot water in the shower and the breakfast was delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if back in Whitby I will certainly like to return."

When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold.
