My favourite spot and fourth place on my 5 favourite hidden places list is the Old Skeabost Pier. This place has some of the most amazing sunsets in the area, and it's also one of the rare locations where you can capture the Northern lights.

"Beautiful accommodations with a beautiful view! A bit further from some Skye attractions but woth the drive for the lovely stay."

"Rural and fabulous. Small town. Access to "major" highways. A few local restaurants and a grocery store. It's a great home base or a great place to stay for a few days. It's right on the ocean and a cool dock with some fishing (lobster?) boats. Loved it."

The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. Too far to skye

"This is a beautiful property in a very remote area. To get there you drive a one lane track over the top of the mountain or a one track road around the coast. Both are beautiful, but time consuming. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation this is perfect. But it is too long a drive if your plans are on the Isle of Skye. "
