Summary:
Our team performed a whole house remodel 2020! It is our pleasure to welcome you to the beauty and splendor of Hummingbird Manor!

The Space:
Hummingbird Manor is a stately, historic colonial located in Skaneateles that was a former bed and breakfast. It has been professionally interior designed with an equestrian flair and has all new furnishings with over 4,500 square feet of refined living space. It has 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. There is a main level bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 1/2 bath. The other 5 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms are on the upper level.

The main level has a gorgeous chefs kitchen with granite counter tops . There is plenty of seating with a formal dining room that seats 8-10 people and a kitchen island that seats 6 people. There is also a Stickley sofa table that seats 3 additional people.

The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area so that everyone can be together in one space. There is also another a cozy den in a separate room across the hall perfect for reading or having a separate space for the kids to do some gaming, with pocket doors for privacy.

Outside is beautifully landscaped with a spacious deck off of the kitchen. There is also a gazebo where you can enjoy that morning cup of coffee! With five private acres, it’s like having your own little oasis tucked away from it all just over a mile from Skaneateles downtown center!

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful, pet friendly, newly renovated, 4,500 square foot equestrian manor home is situated in Skaneateles on Main Street just over one mile west of Skaneateles downtown center and within a 2 mile radius to most of Skaneateles' numerous wedding venues. With downtown Skaneateles a short drive away, you have the best of both worlds, peace and tranquility and Skaneateles Lake at your fingertips!

Wonderful stay in a wonderful town

This was our first trip to Skaneateles and we absolutely loved it, largely because we had such a nice play to stay. The house is clean, and was plenty large enough for our group of 3 adults and 3 kids (could easily fit many more). The kitchen is well stocked, the bedding and linens are comfortable and in great condition, and communication with the owners was very easy. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful New Year’s at this beautiful home! We were a group of friends and couples and the property was spacious and every room having its own bathroom was amazing! We enjoyed the large spacious kitchen and the fire pit! Our only complaint was not having enough chairs for the dining table but truly that was minimal with how lovely our stay was.

Friends getaway

We came up with a few friends just to hang together and change up the scenery. The house was cleaned and beautiful. The manager is great and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and enough space for everyone. I would come stay again. Skaneateles is a beautiful little town.

Skaneatles stay

This property was perfect for our family’s stay as we were in town for a wedding. It’s perfect for large groups with its spacious rooms and living spaces. Also an added bonus was each room had its own private bathroom. The house and kitchen in particular was well stocked with everything we needed. Check in and communication with the host was easy. The house was very clean throughout and we would certainly stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Comfortable Home

Group of six senior couples enjoyed our stay at this nicely appointed home which was very clean and well furnished. Had one issue with plumbing on first day, but it was resolved quickly. The town of Skaneateles is one of the cleanest, nicely maintained and upscale towns on the lakes. Wonderful dining downtown and the NY state parks require a visit, along with the great local wineries.

Wedding Weekend

Our family of 10 adults and two young children were able to all stay in one place for our family wedding weekend in Skaneateles. It was wonderful to be all together, yet each have their own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The kitchen and living area are quite spacious so that our entire family fit in one space. Our only complaint is that the house is located on a rather busy street and the traffic disrupted our sleep at night and early in the morning.

Beautiful large home

The house itself is magnificent and clean. I would recommend anyone staying in the front bedrooms to bring a sound machine/fan due to traffic noise interrupting sleep. The grounds are just plain, the only amenity is a fire pit, but lots of room for pets/games. There is also more than one blow-dryer (the description says 1), so no need to pack more. 1 mile to town but it is not walkable. The hosts can arrange free parking in town which was very nice. We highly recommend taking a dinner boat cruise!

Loved it all but would only suggest a few larger pots and pans and serving bowls for kitchen. Large house lots of people. I’m sure those will be added. Very new. Everything was really nice.

Wedding weekend

This property is outstanding, as we used the expansive kitchen and living room area to stage the 3 makeup artists and 2 hair stylists on the day of the wedding. In addition, the bedrooms were perfect for our family, especially the 2 upstairs bedrooms that were tucked away from the rest of the bedrooms. Perfect for our grandson and his parents to have some quiet during the getting ready part of the day. Just beautiful home! Highly recommend!

Perfect extended family home!

House is beautiful and so comfortable for an extended family gathering! We were there to celebrate a graduation and everyone had to get ready and leave the house super early at the same time. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was critical! The house is beautifully decorated. The spacious kitchen and eating/living areas comfortably accommodated our big family meals and game-night! Big backyard for football and frisbee games😊. We barbecued and ate outside on the picnic tables. Super close to the town for walks by the lake, shopping and eating and house had great restaurants, mini-golf and ice cream practically next door. Highly recommend—we had a fabulous experience a made great memories!

Family Get-together

House is lovely. All appliances worked. Hugh kitchen. We enjoyed going to the wineries. Skaneateles is a lovely town. Nice restaurants, park and golf course. The house needs a power washing and the gazebo needs updating. The walk in shower needs a plastic shower cady for soap, shampoo, etc. Two refrigerators were a blessing as were the two washer/dryers. We enjoyed the fireplace as we had 3 rainy days. TVs in all the bedrooms and living room. Very nice. I would visit again

Great place to meet up with family for Christmas!

A great place with everything we needed ( which was important since many of us flew in). Having a bathroom for each bedroom is a real plus and the house and location are quiet so many slept in. It was very nice to wake up to snow and even nicer to see the driveway was already plowed! We’ll be back!

2021 Family Thanksgiving at Equestrian Manor

This is a beautiful house that comfortably fit 11 adults and two toddlers. Very clean, very responsive property manager ( had to call because we couldn’t open the front door at first and couldn’t find a tv remote), fully stocked kitchen for making a large thanksgiving dinner. The pictures of this house are completely accurate. While the road is busy, you don’t hear it inside. Enough TVs for sports watchers, toddler shows, and Hallmark holiday movies! We had a great time. And my 84 year old father said “best holiday ever!”
