"Remco and Ellen were exceptional hosts — responsive, outgoing, and devoted to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. The Yellow House was recently remodeled, with craftsmanship and attention to detail evident throughout. All amenities were in near mint condition, providing everything we needed throughout our stay. The coastal location is fabulous, with adjoining fields and forests providing an ideal location for peaceful hikes (we were treated to courtship displays of common snipe as the midnight sun cast fantastic light over the mountains and sea). 10/10, would highly recommend!!!"

"Self check in is convenient. There is no staff onsite during our stay. I tried to cook but I was not able to turn on the cooker or the oven. It looks to me there is no electricity connected to them. Otherwise everything is good."

"Property was clean and easily accessible. I was alone so it was a bit large but worked really well for my short stay. And, I love the views of the water. The shower head could be a little larger. It appears to be less than 3inches in diameter. "

"Spacious room. Great staff. Welcome drink n snacks was very thoughtful. Good spread of breakfast. I like the handheld shower head just that it was leaking. Everything very good except for the location. It’s not in town. E-car charging port a bit far n no place to rest while charging. Should have an eatery nearby charging port. "

"Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and tidy room. Lovely and warm, which was much appreciated at the time we stayed (end January 2026) as it was around -25 outside! "
