"The location of the hotel is good for the station and for restaurants along the promenade howver need to be a pretty robust walker as there are lots of hills and steps!
Hotel was ok - decoration was minanilist and clinical. The bedroom and bathroom furniture is basic ( Ikea like!) . The towels were thin and poor quality. There was very little provided in the way of toiletries - no facial soap ,no bath robes. The wardrobe was located in an alcove in the room with a rail and a curtain !
Only one bottle of complimentary water was provided for the 6 day stay. When this was challenged at reception the staff were dismissive - told we could by some at the bar! The nearest shop was about 10 minutes away! A day later two bottles of top quality mineral water were left in our room !
As a seasoned traveller this hotel did not represent value for money - apart from the breakfast which was excellent! Do not pre book breakfast as on arrival the offer for breakfast was half the price of the prebooked price!
Sadly this hotel did not live up to expectations and was over priced."
"New, clean and friendly staff. Good location - right next to gym and padel courts. Quiet and not far to walk to the centre of town and the beach. Great facilities and wished I had booked longer. As a single female traveller, I felt very safe."
