　オーナーが地域の伝統的家屋を移築して開業した、古民家ホテルで、家族経営のため心遣いが行き届いていた。 　その他の特徴として、朝食が地元食材の定食で、４泊し毎日ほぼ同じ内容なのに十分満足できた。 　自然公園の中の小集落にあり、公共交通機関はなく、車（レンタカー）出ない場合、バスや鉄道の駅がある街からタクシーで１時間くらいかる。また、車でも舗装された道路はあるけれど、衛星ナビケーションによってはとんでもない道に案内されるので慎重な運転が必要に思う。 　今回はここを起点に中央から東クロアチアの各地に出かけたので周辺散策などはできなかったけれど、「欧州朱嘴鸛村」に認定されていて、春から夏の繁殖期や雪景色の冬に訪れたい。
