Immediately I was able to find another booking and made same day reservation at Hotel Federico II. I immediately called hotel after reservation was made and they set up an adjoining room to accommodate our family and even set up a rolling bed to accommodate our five people. "Amazingly preserved hotel at the top of the mountain. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel restaurant was some of the best food we had in Italy. Many of the local restaurants and hotels had closed for the season but this hotel is a rare gem. There is a tennis court and a pool and plenty of hiking trails right from the property. Spa was nice as well."
