"Hotel Walhalla is directly across from St. Gallen HB (train station). This makes it incredibly convenient for travel, requiring no taxi or Uber. Local public transportation is in abundance. It is a short walk to Marktplatz for dining and shopping. The St. Gallen Textile Museum, the Cathedral, and the Abbey Bibliothek are easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The showers were delightful. The breakfast buffet offered options from scrambled or hard boiled eggs, three different yogurt options, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, pancakes, cereal, bacon, and fruit juices."

"Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is next to the train station. Provided umbrella for rainy days. We had a big dog and they were very accommodating. Staff were friendly. Rooms have lots of storage. Bed was comfortable. TV was big. The room felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Clean and cozy. Hotel is very beautiful in a quiet neighborhood next to a few restaurants and supermarketa. "It was a little hard getting in since you had a code. Just had to find pad - then it was easy. Didn't know where to park but was a large lot to the north and it worked ok. It was comfortable and bed was nice. If in Zurich again and leaving from airport this would work for me."
