Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The Moxy is out of the centre of Sion. The decor of the hotel seems to be targeted at the younger clientele, but it is bright and fresh.
The room we stayed in was not huge, but big enough for the 2 of us.
It is about a 20 - 30 minute drive from the crans Montana ski resort.
Breakfast was excellent.
We had a good stay at the Moxy, staff was very helpful, we got a crib and our room was very nice. Minus was no coffee machine or water boiler on the room. Surrounding the hotel there is just a very expensive restaurant in the same building, but a bit further are some good options for dinner.
Easy spot to rest for a night or two if traveling to Crans or surrounding areas.
Room was clean and efficient.
Not my favorite style of hotel, but that’s a personal preference.
Beds were a bit too hard for our liking as were the pillows.
Check in and check out was easy.
Breakfast was good.
Cool, friendly, feel welcome, arrived at.1 am.....felt free to arrive there with someone for a night.....very nice Pedro who offered bottle of water, tea
Simple hotel, small room, but comfortable beds and good quality cosmetic. Little bit chaotic breakfast. Cheese platter was in 2 different places. One coffee machine had good coffee, another one had bad one.
So the hotel is located in an industrial area, but with a supermarket very near by. Despite the area, parking is as expensive as it would be in the middle of a city. The room is missing a lot 1. A kettle to make tea/coffee, 2. Good lighting, 3. A refrigerator, 4. A safe box, to name the essentials. Mountain view is a stretch. Technically you see mountains - as you would from almost any window in this area, but the view is the least interesting mountain view I have seen, but behind the sad industrial areas, there are mountains. Other things (not mentioned here) are good, but I did not try the breakfast.
Hotel for Young People and Bustourists.
Good Beds, but no closet in rooms, no safe, no fridge. No bottle of water is offered.
Has airconditioning.
Worst thing is that there is an ambience light below beds, that sometimes switches on during nights and you cannot switch it off.
It was fixed the other day, but only temporary.
Food is very limited, not enough tables if busloads of tourist have breakfast.
Outside of the town center, not more in walking distance.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I recently stayed at this hotel for the second time in a week, and I must say that the experience did not meet my expectations, especially given the recurrence of certain issues.
Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the state of the hotel’s exterior. The trash bins were overflowing, and cigarette butts littered the ground, which gives a very negative first impression. This lack of exterior maintenance is not reflective of a respectable establishment.
As for the reception service, it also leaves much to be desired. The receptionist, busy with a personal phone conversation, ignored my presence. She continued chatting while saying she had to hang up to handle a check-in. It’s disconcerting to see such a lack of professionalism and hospitality. It raises the question: is there a manager at this hotel?
However, there is a silver lining to this establishment. The housekeeping staff stands out for their professionalism and efficiency. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was always smiling, contributing to a more pleasant stay.
In summary, this hotel needs a serious reevaluation of its customer service and exterior maintenance. While the cleanliness of the rooms is a positive point, the overall experience is marred by unfriendly staff and poor hygiene conditions outside. I’m not sure if I would return for a third stay unless significant changes are made.
