"This place is immaculate. The host is genuine and so kind. Very peaceful and calm during the night. And free to enter and exit as you please. The living room and kitchen are super welcoming and spacious for everyone—you're free to use the kitchen like it's your own, and there's plenty of room to hang out. It's a 30minute walk to Cascais which is an enjoyable one. Or quick 5 minute drive. I love this place. And will be staying here in the future. Obrigado Senhora Maria"

The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

The apartment was very clean and accurate to the listing. There was mold in the bathroom but this was mentioned in the reviews prior to booking and it did not bother me much for two days. It is a basement apartment but there is a lovely view from the living area. Check in was smooth and the communication was perfect. Also the location was incredible. Just a minute walk to the restaurants and 5-10 minutes to the castle trails and entrances."

"The hosts' home is very quaint and cozy. It is airy and bright with lots of space for families, couples, or singles. The town of Colares is ideally located to be able to easily drive to the beaches, Obidos, Cabo da Roca, Sintra, Lisbon, or Cascais - all great places to visit while there and all so close. If you are not driving, buses to all of those places are easy to get."
